New Engine for the ’78

So, I decided to build a new engine for the ’78. I wanted a little bit more HP then the stock L82 was providing. I also felt that the heads in the stock engine were wore out.

The block was bored and machined at Brazier Race and Machine in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They were very good, and did a great job on my block. They talked me into getting them to install the crank, cam, and pistons which was probably a good idea.

I painted it right away.

Then installed the Oil pump, heads, rockers, intake & water pump.
