I decided to buy a Corvette
to restore just before my
40th birthday in 2009.

I purchased the car in April of 2009, just outside of London, Ontario… 2000 mile round-trip journey…

My Car was born in the Corvette assembly plant in St. Louis on February 1, 1973. I named her “Blondie”, as her original paint was yellow. But somebody at some point painted her red.

She was originally purchased at BENNETT CHEV OLDS Ltd., Cambridge, Ontario
By Mr. Barry Haggart of Milton, Ontario on February 12, 1973
(if Mr. Haggart is still around, please leave a comment on the front page)

Update January 2014: Mr. Haggart posted on the front page and is alive and well….
