Well, I would suggest breaking your project down into four pieces. Chassis, Engine/Drivetrain, body, and interior. Also, use a spreadsheet with different tabs for each of the four areas; then start marking down on the spreadsheet which parts you will need as they come up. As you order parts, change the color, and add a purchase date… this makes it really easy to track what your spending and the parts you bought, and need to buy.
I can send you a copy of my spreadsheet if you like as a template!
Hi nice job I have a 73 also and live close to you (St.Marys ONT.) mine has a history to it also I am going to give it a make over starting in the spring just to dam cold now lol. I was just south of the boarder at Paragon corvettes and picked up a few things.
Great! Are you doing a full frame-off restoration? I’m hoping to get back at it this winter and get the body finished. I got distracted with moving a couple times, building a shop, and getting the 78 body ready for paint.. 🙂
Wow! Great job Gord! Excellent pictures and story! It will be fun to see it on the road. Come visit us soon!
Thank you for posting your project. I just received my Dad’s 73 and will be tearing it down soon. I would appreciate any tips.
Respectfully submitted,
